When I was a child I once built a model rocket.

I spent days, maybe even weeks, getting it to look exactly as I wished.  Paint, decals, you name it.  In my mind at the time I was about to embark on a path thru life in which I would one day revolutionize space travel as we knew it.

Its maiden voyage went much like your animation above, and lasted only marginally longer.

I was crushed.

I had to immediately reassess my self-worth, as well as my career goals.  I was on medication for weeks.
